THE 7TH INTERNATIONAL COFFEE, TEA & BAKERY EXPO (COFFEE EXPO VIETNAM 2023)
With six successful events organized thus far, Coffee Expo Vietnam has established itself as the foremost international trade fair in Vietnam’s F&B as well as coffee sectors.
Approved by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade, Coffee Expo Vietnam 2023 will take place from November 2 to 4, 2023 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The exhibition is co-organized by Coex and Vinexad, with the support from Vietnam Cocoa Coffee Association (VICOFA) and Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association (BMTCA), along with companionship from Vietnam Coffee Challenge (VCC). Furthermore, Coffee Expo also receives support from gold sponsor DMCC and media partner Riviu.
Coffee Expo Vietnam has proudly become not only an indispensable destination for the community of people who love and work in the F&B industry but also an optimal platform for enterprises to convene, collaborate, and grow their market reach.
An assembly of 200 booths featuring 250 different brands
The exhibition this year features 200 booths with 250 brands from 15 different countries, such as Vietnam, Korea, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Russia, Japan, America, England, Australia, Thailand. This year’s expo, in particular, sees the involvement of DMCC, a prominent coffee buyer based in Dubai, who is also the gold sponsor of Coffee Expo Vietnam 2023.
In terms of premium coffee and tea products, this year’s exhibition features prominent brands such as Trung Nguyen Coffee, Ong Bau Coffee, La Viet, VCA Vietnam Coffee Academy, UCC, Mercon, Sucafina, Phuc Sinh, Teapro, among others. When it comes to brewing tools, exhibitors like Ly Gia Vien, Vietblend, and Amber, are on display. For machinery and equipment, you can explore offerings from Epicure, Thoi Dai Coffee, Lamvita, Cosmis, Kio Viet, and more. Those seeking raw materials and accessories for cakes and desserts will find exhibitors such as Tan Nhat Huong, Bliss, Uniflour, Hann, and others. In the broader F&B industry, notable exhibitors like Xuan Thinh, Uni-President Vietnam, Freshlife are in attendance. Technology and packaging are also represented with the presence of Alphapack Technology Engineering and Tri-wall Vina Packaging. Additionally, the exhibition includes VCA Vietnam Coffee Academy, A Au Vocational Guidance school, and The Lovely Cup among its participants.
Coffee Expo has evolved into a dynamic “playground” where enterprises come together to showcase and introduce their products, all the while efficiently engaging and forming connections with prospective customers. Furthermore, the event opens avenues for businesses to explore the market, share insights with international counterparts, pursue export prospects, and attract investment.
During the exhibition, in addition to product showcases, Coffee Expo also hosts a variety of activities scheduled throughout 3 days of the event.
Roastery Experience
The exhibition spotlights the Roastery Experience, uniting aspiring roasters from all around Vietnam. Within this setting, roasters will not only present their roasted and ground coffee offerings but also showcase the industry’s most recent roasting techniques. This represents an exciting new addition to this year’s event.
Simultaneously, visitors to the Roastery Experience zone can engage in valuable knowledge exchange and learning opportunities by attending workshops led by both local and international experts. These workshops cover a wide range of captivating topics, including “Sharing – The “Killer” of coffee shop owners”, “Menu diversification – Create your own menu with teapresso trend”, “Lamington and the art of Plated dessert”, “Trend of using oat milk in beverage menus”, “Embracing Torani Classic Flavors to Revitalize Your Café Menu” and so on.
New Product Showcase
Enhanced by a coffee shop-themed photobooth, making up a total spacious area of 3m x 9m, this year’s New Product Showcase area is set to captivate the interest of numerous exhibition attendees. Each product featured will be equipped with a QR code, allowing customers to effortlessly access comprehensive details about the product, along with information regarding the manufacturers and distributors.
Vietnam Coffee Challenge (VCC 2023)
Building upon the achievements of 2022, the Final Round of Vietnam Coffee Challenge (VCC 2023) will once again be a collaborative effort between Coffee Expo and Vietnam Coffee Event during this year’s exhibition. This professional competition is designed for baristas in Vietnam and offers an excellent platform for networking, learning, and interacting with the coffee-making community across the country. This year’s competition will feature three distinct categories: Brew Challenge, Roast Challenge, and Pour Challenge, enhanced with a range of intriguing and imaginative innovations in the competition format. The contest is highly anticipated to deliver a thrilling competition experience for its audience.
Coffee Expo 2023, upholding its position as Vietnam’s most distinguished and professional yearly event in the F&B industry, particularly coffee, tea, and bakery, will return and open for three days free of charge, from November 2 to November 4, 2023, and is expected to draw in about 20,000 visitors.
Simultaneously occurring alongside COFFEE EXPO VIETNAM 2023 is the 14th Vietnam International Retailtech & Franchise Show (VIETRF 2023) – the most extensive and exclusive gathering for retailtech and franchising in Vietnam.
